Publication requirements

The Journal  «Сurrent Therapy of Mental Disorders» publishes original articles concerning modern approaches for the management of mental disorders based on principles of evidence-based medicine. The journal also accepts articles on psychotherapy. Final decisions on the publications are made by the Editorial Board of The Journal  «Сurrent Therapy of Mental Disorders» and are based on at least two independent reviews. The manuscripts accepted for publication are not returned. The reasons for manuscripts rejection for publication are not provided by the editorial board.

Submissions should be sent to the editors by e-mail to psypharma@yandex.ru with the subject line “Article for publication”. All publications should use the international nonproprietary names. Exceptions include combined, multicomponent medications as well as plants and animals derived medicinal products. All abbreviations (except for units) should be used only after the full term has been mentioned.
Volume of papers should not exceed 40 thousand characters – 15 pages A4, including references.
The text of the manuscript should be provided in any version of Microsoft Word with 1.5 spacing (12 front size) on A4 pages with at least 25 mm margin.

Every manuscript submitted for the publication should include the following data:
1.  Authors information
- Full last name, first name and patronymic (in Russian and English)
- Full name of the institutions - place of work of every author using nominative case, 
city and country (in Russian and English)
- In case all authors work in the same place, it should be indicated once
- E-mail addresses of all authors
- ORCID numbers of all authors
- Contact phone number of the corresponding author 
2. The title of the paper
Should be written in Russian and English.
3. Abstract 
Should be presented in Russian and English. Abstract (summary) should be informative (reflect the main highlights and findings of the article), structured (follow the logic of results description in the article).  Abstract should include general summary of the manuscript.  For review articles, a structured summary using the headings is preferred and should include background, objectives, materials, methods, results and conclusions.
Abbreviations and symbols, except for commonly used ones, should be used sparingly. Initially use the word in full, followed by the abbreviation in the parentheses. Thereafter use the abbreviations. Do not use reference citations in the abstract. 
Abstract volume is determined by the content of the manuscript (volume of information, scientific and / or practical value). The text should contain at least 10 lines, in the region of 100-250 words and 850 characters.
4. Keywords 
Keywords or phrases should be separated from each other by semicolons. A maximum of 6 key words should be provided in Russian and English. 
5. Subject heading (code)
It is necessary to state a subject heading (a code) as well as a Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) number and/or a State Rubricator of Scientific and Technical Information code and/or a Higher Attestation Commission code (in accordance with the current nomenclature of specialties of scientific workers)
Optionally state other library-bibliographic subject classification indices.
6. References
The journal contains the original reference list and its English transliteration. Reference list is transliterated by the publisher.
Reference citations and/or reference list should be presented in accordance with existing GOST 7.0.5–2008 on the bibliographical description.
